In Hawaii, “Luau Feet” and Barefoot Etiquette Call for Healthy-Looking Feet

     Native Hawaiians, and everyone who travels to the islands, love sandals and healthy-looking feet. Although Hawaii offers five-star restaurants where attire is formal, the daytime atmosphere is definitely casual. Sandals are worn by all but the most formal businessmen and women. And Hawaiians prefer their local sandal style, which is, above all, comfortable. If you’re planning a trip to Hawaii, bring at least one pair of sandals and plan to wear them everywhere – don’t pack the fancy ones, because to have "Luau" feet – you need to be laid-back and comfortable.
